The Mosou: Where the Women Lead, is a research project I am working on this semester for my honors contract. I am primarily doing research on this to expand my studies of my Women and Gender Studies minor, as well as learning more about the leadership styles of Women vs. Men. This presentation will delve into their culture and how women came to be the gender in charge. I will also present on the unique differences in leadership and government function in their society compared to the system of leadership in the United States. I will conclude with how this society has continued to survive in a world where the patriarchal leadership is the norm and the efforts they are taking in order to preserve their way of life and culture.
